  Sur Greyness of a Young Despondency, on sent encore que Damián Antón Ojeda est sur un début de carrière par le côté résolument franc de son black metal dépressif. Ce n'est pas tant la subtilité (et encore que : quand on écoute "Untitled III", il y a de quoi nuancer le propos...) qui est importante que l'authenticité de ce désespoir qui nous est craché à la gueule, encore plus sur "...And Hurting Colors" dont le but est de nous détruire émotionnellement. Pour pousser ce concept jusqu'au bout, NONE fait en sorte que ce quatrième album soit à double tranchants. Sur le plan quantitatif, DSBM et dark ambiant sont sur un pied d'égalité : si le premier est toujours aussi dévastateur, le second n'est pas là pour apporter du réconfort.
